Name: Lilystar
Age: 19 moons
Gender: Female
Looks: A white she-cat with a cream underbelly and darker cream paws. She has striking amber eyes and a long, restless tail. A tired-looking slender tabby. Named Lily- for her white and cream shades similar to that of the blossom of said plant.
Personality: A kind and shy cat as a warrior, she was forced to step up her game at becomming deputy. She listens well, but can be quite stubborn on her opinions. Quite judgmental after stepping up as leader, feeling that protecting her Clan meant keeping it healthy. Her kind nature rules the kits out of that judgement, however, and she is determined to make disabled kits into fine warriors, often wishing to train them herself once they become apprentices.
History: (optional) Lilystar was born Glarekit, seeing as her mother is who she got her judgemental tendency from, she was the color of the glare you get from the light, and her mother was grieving over her brother at the time, thinking the kit simply wished to cause her more pain in the birthing at the time. However, her mother did not back it up with compassion, and almost left her unnamed. Her father was a wonderful cat however, and now rests in the elders den, still sometimes playing the games they used to, when Lilystar isn't busy. Refusing to call her Glarekit, her father called her Lilykit, after her appearance.
When she became an apprentice, she was hard at work every day, not wasting a second, wishing to make her mother proud, make her notice. However, Glarepaw was so scared of making a mistake, everything took a very long time to do. Her mentor was a kind cat, and a harsh judge. Because of this, Glarepaw was able to perfect her skill, but also have a cat to lean on and be comfortable with talking to. Very shy, she made few friends. She became a warrior quickly, with a rare name-change, seeing as the leader was begged by her father to rename her Lily-. Her mother stood up in protest, saying the vile thing deserved the name she was given maternally. Glarepaw, nevertheless, became Lilyshine.
Lilyshine was a shy warrior, but made friends with one cat in particular. They were sent on patrols with each other because they worked well with each other, they had recieved their warrior names together, and they always were the ones laughing the loudest. Now, before you speculate, they are NOT in love. They are friends, that's it. Soon, this cat found a mate, and although the three of them laughed together sometimes, the friend spent more time with his mate now. And thus, Lilyshine was alone again. She trained her apprentices, (two), just as her mentor had trained her: Kind but harsh. She felt glows of pride when each one became a warrior. But then, the previous leader of the Clan was slain in battle. And so began her life as deputy.
Lilyshine was a stubborn deputy, always wishing to impress the now-leader, Darkstar. She felt that Darkstar's choice was a fluke, and she needed to be extraordinary to keep her position. Her word was followed, but other cats thought she was much too harsh and much too strict, and thought she would never be a great leader with the dispostion she boasted. Some cats defended her, namely her friend and his mate, as well as the apprentices she had lovingly trained. She continued being deputy, and some cats warmed up to her because of the times she listened, especially to her friends, who helped her translate other cats' wishes and weigh the pros and cons of accepting them. This helped her, because Darkstar was nearly an elder by the time he gained his position. Soon, Darkstar decided it was time to retire. Not to StarClan, but to the elders' den, trusting Lilyshine to care for his beloved Clan. Lilyshine was a young leader.
Lilyshine, after visiting with StarClan, and the leader she had seen join said ranks, knows some things. And thus, she recieved her nine lives and her name: Lilystar. Still young, she has had few things to speak of as leader. She looks up to the older leaders.
