I begin to worry. Silverstar has not yet arrived, and the moonset is arriving fast. I dare not ask the meeting to begin, being the youngest and least qualified. The tip of the sun glides over the horizon. I shift uncomfortably, my social awkwardness coming back to haunt me. I cast a worried glance at the ever-rising sun, then at my gathered Clan. The other leaders are impossible to read. I open my mouth, about to make some comment, but quickly bite my tongue. I begin to scratch the branch absently in wait.
