looks: he is a strong looking broad shouldered tom, with a lean muscular frame, and long legs. he has short pitch black fur, except for white paws and a small patch of white on his chest. he has bright green eyes. he has a long whip like tail, and rather large ears. he has a air of graceful power about him.
personality: he is kind, over all, understanding, and gentle to those who he feels he must protect. he is strong willed, not likely to be twisted into some other cat's way of thinking. sometimes it ends up being more stubbornness and pride than other wise. he is over protective (witch some times is a good thing). he carries the traditional grudge against Lightningclan, perhaps more than most cats of his clan. he values the opinions of his senior warriors and even of apprentices (if the ideas are sensible) as a new leader he is not sure of every thing but is determined to do his best. (i will develop his personality more through Roleplay)
history: he was born to two Forestclan warriors, he had two siblings, a brother and a sister. at the age of one moon, his sister showed sines of sickness. the medicine cats did not know what to say, she did not have a cold, fever, or even green cough, she was just... ill. she stayed that way from then on (even thought she got a bit better as she grew up). besides that, Ebonykit and his brother grew up like any other kits, and along with them a young she kit named Moonkit. the three were best friends, playmates and trained together when they became apprentices. but as they got older Ebonypaw began to have a crush on moonpaw. is brother teased him, but Ebonypaw didn't know what to do, he didn't want things to change but he also liked moonpaw more than a friend. one day the three when't out into the woods, his brother dared him and moon paw to cross the log bridge into mistclan territory. moonpaw slipped and fell into the river and was swept away. she was assumed to be dead and ebonypaw was very depressed, and when he became a warrior he was much more serious and determined. he became closer that ever to his brother and trusted him with nearly everything. he never got a mate. he worked hard training two apprentices and eventually was made the deputy by hawkstar. he was a good deputy for a long time but was not quite ready for leadership when a tree fall accident took hawkstar's life. when he traveled to the moon hollow he felt certain that moon paw would be one of the cats to give him one of his lives but she wasn't there, since then he couldn't help but wonder if she was still alive.
skills: he is a good hunter, strong in the field of running and jumping, a decent fighter (best when fighting a slower bigger opponent) a terrible swimmer.
